Digital Eyes uses the world’s finest manual enlargers with
the best optics to produce high-quality, hand-printed color enlargements
from 35mm through 8x10-size color negatives. All prints are color
and density adjusted. Enlargements from transparencies require an
internegative. Color enlargement services normally require 3-4 working
days. Murals require 6-8 working days. Prints larger than 24x36
require an 8x10 internegative. Prints from large format negatives
(5x7 and 8x10) require a minimum order of $65.00. B/W printing on

Digital Eyes operates a classic in-house darkroom, complete with
film processing capabilities for color or b/w film (including transparency
film), enlargers for 35mm, medium-format, and large-format film
up to 8"x10", and a paper processor to handle prints up
to 52" wide. We are specialists in large-format printing, and
our enlargers can produce extremely pleasing murals from your negative
or slide film. |

R Prints (prints from color slides) are handled through both our
photo lab and our digital lab. Our photo lab produces R Prints by
first making an internegative and then printing your image onto Ilfoflex
2000 Super Glossy Film for the most intense effect. Other media choices

| Proof Sheets / Contact Proofs / Contact Sheets

We produce proof sheets (sometimes called contact proofs or contact
sheets) from your 35mm, 120, 4x5, and 8x10 film. Proof sheets are
made to match the exposure of a majority of the images on each film
roll (35mm, 120, or ganged 4x5s). Proof sheets made from single 4x5
and 8x10 films will be produced with the best exposure for the individual
image. |

| Type R Prints |
| |
Digital Eyes produces “Type R” prints by either drum
scanning your transparency and printing the image on our professional
inkjet printers or by producing an internegative and making the enlargement
from the internegative. Prints needing more manipulation such as extensive
dodging and burning or color changes will be better printed digitally.
For prints needing little darkroom manipulation, an internegative
is a less expensive and better approach. |

| Duratrans |
| |
Duratrans display film is a favorite for backlit displays. Often
used in airports, malls, and theatres, this material is translucent
on a white base. Please ask us about our newer thin light box displays
that allow you to place your duratrans print in readily-available
off-the-shelf frames. Larger sizes and in-between sizes are also available.
Some dimensions require sectioning. Normal service is 5-8 working
days. |
