Get your film and photos scanned at the resolution you choose. We offer photo scanning services at 300, 600, and 1200ppi and film scanning services at resolutions up to 8000ppi. "PPI" is short for "pixels per inch." Generally speaking, more "ppi" means better resolution - and the capability to make larger prints. |

SCAN TIP: |
300ppi is a good photo scanning resolution for same-size reprints. Opt for higher resolutions if you will be making enlargements of certain photos. When scanning film, we prefer scans of at least 3200 ppi for enlargements, reprints, and when archiving film to digital media. Scan resolutions of 2700ppi or less may not capture all the detail that is available on the film. |

We use pro-quality film and flatbed scanners with specialized software to help produce some of the best scans you can get. Our highest quality scans are done on an actual drum scanner at resolutions up to 8000ppi, and for larger artwork, we offer Cruse™ scanning services by Picture Element™. |
